New York, New York - Jan/2014 -

Hello people!
My most recent trip took me to New York, New York.
It was pretty interesting to say the least.

You know, lately I have been struggling to stay focused and happy.

This trip was a much needed one.
I was with great company, and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
This is fast forwarding a little bit, but when we were in our hotel room I told them to look up John Pinette (My favorite Comedian) and oh goodness I laughed so much, my whole body was having laughing pains, and my nose was leaking, I was crying, and was having a hard time breathing. I must say that was the highlight of my trip, being able to share a great laugh with great company.
Oh and the hotel we stayed in was located right next to a Pizza Place that sold pizza for a dollar!!
I was in heaven.

I set a goal for my trip and that was to photograph 100 people, just 100. I didn't end up following through. Something didn't feel right.

I found that some of the streets of New York are riddled with graffiti, and it was beautiful.
Besides all that I had a great time photographing what I could and did.
Although I found my self struggling to photograph a lot.

On this trip I took my Nikon D7000 with the 35mm lens (Only lens I own), My Iphone, and my Leica Mini II.
This time around I bought ISO800 Fujifilm Superia X-Tra and it wasn't all that, although some of the colors did come out quite nice. Besides that I think going through the checkpoints and not taking out my film may have ruined it, a little.
I still enjoyed some of the shots taken with the camera.

So I discovered that my comfort-zone for film lies between ISO100 and ISO400, and I prefer Kodak Portra.

We live and learn.
Well thanks for reading this far, if you have, and thanks for clicking the link to see the images!

Enjoy!!
